Skillet Noodles with Sausage and Vegetables

 


Ingredients:  
16 ounces Dakota Growers Wide Egg Noodles
16 ounces spicy Italian sausage links
1 yellow bell pepper, cut into short, thin strips
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 medium carrots, sliced into julienne strips
1 can (14 1/2-ounces) chicken broth
3 Roma tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  Directions Cook wide egg noodles according to package directions Cut sausage into 1-inch pieces. Cook sausage, peppers, onions and carrots over medium-high heat until sausage is brown; drain. Reduce heat to medium and stir in chicken broth, tomatoes and basil and simmer for 10 minutes. Toss vegetables with hot noodles and serve. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Servings 4
