Pasta with Smoked Turkey and Asparagus
Ingredients: |
8 ounces Dakota Growers Medium Shells |
2 tablespoons butter |
1/2 cup chopped green onion |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
1 cup chicken broth |
2 cups cooked smoked turkey, cubed |
8 ounces fresh asparagus |
1 cup yellow squash, diced |
Salt and Pepper to taste |
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese |
Directions Prepare pasta according to package directions. In a large skillet over low heat, saute onion and garlic in butter for 5 minutes stirring frequently. Add chicken broth, smoked turkey and vegetables and salt and pepper. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Toss turkey and vegetable mixture with pasta. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Servings 4 |
