Green Bean Almondine with Tomatoes

 


Ingredients
1 (28.0 oz.) can of Cut Green Beans, drained
1 tsp. butter
4 small shallots, diced
2 large tomatoes, diced
2 tbsp. parsley
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup silvered almonds
Melt butter in frying pan and add shallots; saute over medium-low heat until soft. Add tomatoes, parsley, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and green beans. Mix well and cook until heated through, approximately 2 minutes. Place mixture in serving dish and top with almonds.
