Thin Spaghetti with Ham and Asparagus Sauce

 


Spaghettini al Prosciutto é Asparagi 
Ingredients:  
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces cooked ham
1 tablespoon green onion, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
16 ounces Dakota Growers Thin Spaghetti
1 package (12 ounces) frozen asparagus, thawed
1/4 cup blue cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  Directions Heat oil in medium sauce pan over medium-high heat. Dice ham in 1/4-inch dices and add to pan with green onion and parsley, cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in cream, season with salt and pepper. Cook 10 minutes over medium-low heat. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Add asparagus to pasta during the last 6 minutes and boil. Drain well and combine with sauce in medium serving bowl. Sprinkle with cheeses and toss well. Serve immediately. Servings 4
