Thin Spaghetti with Ham and Asparagus Sauce

| Ingredients: |
| 1 tablespoon olive oil |
| 8 ounces cooked ham |
| 1 tablespoon green onion, chopped |
| 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped |
| 1 cup heavy whipping cream |
| 1/2 teaspoon salt |
| 1/2 teaspoon pepper |
| 16 ounces Dakota Growers Thin Spaghetti |
| 1 package (12 ounces) frozen asparagus, thawed |
| 1/4 cup blue cheese |
| 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese |
| Directions Heat oil in medium sauce pan over medium-high heat. Dice ham in 1/4-inch dices and add to pan with green onion and parsley, cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in cream, season with salt and pepper. Cook 10 minutes over medium-low heat. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Add asparagus to pasta during the last 6 minutes and boil. Drain well and combine with sauce in medium serving bowl. Sprinkle with cheeses and toss well. Serve immediately. Servings 4 |
