Skillet Ham and Sauerkraut

 


Ingredients
1 (32.0 oz.) jar of Crispy Sauerkraut, drained
3 tbsp. butter
2-1/2 lbs. cooked ham, cut into julienne strips
3 medium cooking apples, peeled and sliced
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Melt butter in skillet; add ham and saute until lightly browned. Add apple slices. Combine brown sugar, allspice, and cinnamon; sprinkle over ham and apple slices. Cook 2 minutes or until apples are just tender. Add sauerkraut; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Makes 4 - 6 servings
