Pork Chops with Sauerkraut and Apples

 


Ingredients
2 (27.0 oz.) cans of Crispy Sauerkraut
2 (15.0 oz.) cans Whole White Potatoes
6 medium pork chops
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. oil
1 large onion, sliced
12 fresh peppercorns
3 large apples - cored, peeled, or quartered
Salt & pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350oF. In skillet, brown both sides of pork chops in butter and oil; set aside on separate plate. Saute onions in juice from pork chops until golden brown. Mix together sauerkraut, onions, and peppercorns in casserole dish. Place pork chiops and apples over sauerkraut mixture; add potatoes, salt, and pepper. Cover and bake in oven for approximately 30 minutes.
Makes 6 servings
