Penne with Marinara Sauce and Italian Sausage

Ingredients:  

 

16 ounces Dakota Growers Penne Rigate

2 pounds spicy Italian sausage links

1 medium onion, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped

8 ounces fresh white mushrooms, sliced

2 jars (26 ounces each) marinara sauce

 

  Directions Cook pasta according to package directions. Cut the sausage into 1-inch pieces. Cook sausage, onion, green pepper and mushrooms over medium-high heat until sausage is brown. Drain off fat. Add marinara sauce and simmer for 15 minutes. Toss with hot pasta. Servings 4
