Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
Ingredients:  
16 ounces Dakota Growers™ Spaghetti
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup carrot, chopped
6 bacon strips, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
16 ounces stew meat (Chef Antonio recommends lamb)
1 tablespoon mint flakes
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 can (10 3/4-ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 can (15-ounces) green peas
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  Directions Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Cook green pepper, carrot and onion 5 minutes or until soft. Add bacon and stew meat, season with mint and parsley, cook 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add cream of mushroom soup, garlic salt and pepper, cook 15 minutes covered. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss with sauce, top with Parmesan cheese. *Chef’s note: This is superb with lamb meat for stew. Use fresh mint and parsley if available. Servings 4
