Cavatappi Pasta with Gorgonzola Walnut Sauce

Cavatappi alle Noci e Gorgonzola



16 ounces Dakota Growers Cavatappi pasta

1/4 cups chopped green onion

1/4 cups chopped walnuts

1 tablepsoon fresh sage, chopped

1 ounce olive oil

1 cup gorgonzola cheese (or blue cheese)

1 cup Alfredo sauce

2 ounces grated Parmesan


  Directions Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Saute onion, fesh sage, walnuts in oil 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Bring Alfredo sauce to a boil in skillet, stir crumbled cheese in, lower heat, siimmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile, boil and drain pasta according to package directions. Toss in bowl with all other ingredients, serve. Substitute cavatappi with farfalle, penne rigate, rotini, or any other medium shape of pasta you like. Servings 4
