Beefy Mac 'n Cheese



16 ounces Elbow Macaroni

1/4 cup butter or margarine

3 tablespoons flour

2 cups milk

2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese

1 package (8 ounces) softened cream cheese

2 teaspoons mustard

salt and pepper to taste

8 ounces roast beef leftovers, cubed

1 cup bread crumbs

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted


  Directions Cook Elbow Macaroni according to package directions. In a medium saucepan melt butter, add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk, stir and cook until bubbly. Add cheeses, mustard, salt, pepper, and roast beef and stir until cheese melts. Combine macaroni with cheese mixture. Pour into a 3-quart baking dish. Toss bread crumbs with melted butter and top over macaroni. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Servings 6
