Black Bean Salsa


Black Bean Salsa

This recipe is quick and delicious.  Preparation time  is about 10 minutes and it yields about 5 cups.  Try this salsa with your favorite chips.



1 cup of C&F Black Beans, see recipe below 

3 cups of fresh or jarred salsa 

1 cup of fresh (or thawed, drained frozen) corn kernels 


Cooking Directions:

Black Beans preparation:

     Sort beans to remove foreign material.

     Put beans in a large saucepan and cover with cold water by 2 inches.

     Bring to a boil and lower the heat to a simmer.

     Cook for 5 minutes. 

     Remove from heat.

     Cover and set aside for 1 hour. 

     Drain and hold in reserve.


Combine all ingredients in a decorative bowl.

Serve with tortilla chips.
