Wine and Honey Pizza Dough

 


3 1/2 cups Bread Flour
1/4 cup Red or White Wine
3/4 cup Warm Water
1 1/2 tsp Active Dry Yeast
1 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Olive Oil
Begin by activating yeast by mixing together the water,
yeast and honey and letting it sit for about 10 minutes.
Combine flour, salt, olive oil, wine and yeast mixture and
stir until a dough begins to form. Knead dough on a
lightly floured board for about 10-15 minutes. Put dough
ball into an oiled bowl and let rise for 2-3 hours or until
doubled in size. Cut in half, form to desired shape, top
with your favorite pizza recipe and bake. Serve honey
on side as dipping sauce for left over pizza crust.
