Ingredients:  

 

16 ounces Dakota Growers Orzo

6 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup onion, chopped

4 cloves garlic

1 cup carrots, chopped

1 cup celery, chopped

1/2 cup chopped fresh basil

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

16 cups chicken broth

8 cups water

1 shredded or grated potato

2 teaspoons freshly grated nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon pepper

freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of cooked C&F brown lentils

1 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves of crushed garlic

2 large onions

2 sticks celery

1 carrot

1 potato chopped

4 tbsp soy sauce

1/2 tsp of garlic powder

1/2 tsp of basil

1/2 tsp of paprika

1/2 tsp of sea salt

1/4 tsp cumin and oregano

10 cups of water or stock (2 Massel "beef style" stock cubes - vegan)

1 can of tomatoes

1 cup sliced onion

1 large red bell pepper, sliced in strips

1 cup of asparagus

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup olive oil

2 teaspoons salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 freshly sliced avocado

Combine the greatness of red beans and rice to make a hearty bowl of this delicious Louisiana favorite.

 

Ingredients

1 pound of dried C&F Red Beans, picked over, rinsed and drained

3 tablespoons of bacon grease

1/4 cup of chopped tasso, or chopped ham

1 1/2 cup of chopped yellow onions

3/4 cup chopped green bell peppers 

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper

A pinch of cayenne

3 bay leaves

16 ounces round steak or chicken strips, cut julienne

1/3 cup lime juice

1/3 cup olive oil

4 cloves garlic

dried oregano, cilantro, parsley

1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained

1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

2 green onions (with tops) chopped

1 cup cherry tomato halves

2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Salt & Pepper to taste

16 ounces round steak or chicken strips, cut julienne

1/3 cup lime juice

1/3 cup olive oil

4 cloves garlic

dried oregano, cilantro, parsley

1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained

1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

2 green onions (with tops) chopped

1 cup cherry tomato halves

2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Salt & Pepper to taste

Follow Directions on box except Substitute Marinade for Chopped Tomatoes

When Rice is Cooked, Fold in Sour Cream and Top with Pepper Jack Cheese

Preheat oven to 325 F

Combine in mixing bowl:

1 cup white flour

_ cup quick cooking oats

_ cup yellow cornmeal

_ cup dry milk

_ cup sugar

3 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

 

Cut in:

2/3 cup creamy peanut butter

 

Blend and pour in:

1 egg

1 cup milk

2 tbsp chocolate syrup in measuring cup and add milk to a _ cup fill

2 tablespoons of unsalted butter or oil 

1 cup of onions, finely chopped

1/2 cup of celery, finely chopped

1/2 cup of carrots, finely chopped

3 cloves of minced garlic

1 teaspoon of minced fresh thyme

2 large smoked ham hocks, about 1 1/2 pounds

9 cups of water of homemade chicken stock

1/2 cup of dry sherry
